What is single-bill aggregation?
Instead of separate bills from multiple providers for phone, internet, mobile and so on, you receive one consolidated invoice. That can be from a single carrier that offers all those services, or from an aggregator or partner who bundles services from more than one provider. The aim is simpler procurement, one point of contact and often clearer visibility of total spend.
Benefits
Typical benefits include: less admin (one invoice to process, one relationship to manage); potential volume discounts when multiple services are with one provider; and easier budgeting when all telco spend is in one place. For organisations with sites across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Hobart, consolidation can make it easier to see spend by site or department if the provider’s reporting supports it.
Trade-offs
Aggregation can mean committing more of your spend to one provider. If that provider’s product or support is not best-in-class for every service, you may be trading off optimal fit for simplicity. Some organisations prefer best-of-breed for each service and accept multiple bills. An independent review can compare both approaches—single provider vs multi-provider—and what’s typically available for your size and locations.
What can be aggregated?
Typical candidates are business phone (PABX or cloud), NBN and business internet, business mobile, contact centre and 1300/1800 numbers. Not every provider offers all of these; some specialise in a subset. When reviewing, we map which providers can cover your required services and what their typical aggregation options are. FAQ
Will we save money?
It depends. Volume discounts and simplified admin can reduce cost, but the best financial outcome depends on your current spend and what each provider offers. A review can compare typical pricing.
Do we have to move everything at once?
No. Migration can be phased—e.g. mobile first, then NBN at contract end. An independent review can outline a sensible sequence.
Does Telco Review offer aggregation?
We do not sell or bill for telecommunications. We advise and compare; we can help you identify providers who offer single-bill aggregation and how they compare.
